Our promise
We offer a 14-day refund window on all paid subscriptions, starting on the day of purchase. If you decide within those 14 days that Second Gear isn't right for you, we'll refund you in full.
You don't need a specific reason. A technical problem, general dissatisfaction, or simply changing your mind all qualify.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@second-gear.com within 14 days of your purchase and include:
- The email address you used to sign up
- The order or transaction reference (Paddle emails you one at checkout)
We respond within 5 business days. Once we approve the refund, Paddle (our payment processor) processes it and it returns to your original payment method within a few business days, depending on your bank.
How refunds are processed
Second Gear uses Paddle as our merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, tax, and payments on our behalf. When the refund reaches your statement, it may show as "Paddle" rather than "Second Gear" — that's expected.
Cancellation is not a refund
Cancelling your subscription stops future billing, but it doesn't automatically refund past payments.
If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and want a refund, email us using the steps above. If you cancel after 14 days, your subscription simply ends at the close of the current billing period — no further charges, no refund for the period already paid.
After 14 days
We don't refund subscription periods once the 14-day window has passed. If you're on a monthly plan and realize in month three that you'd like to stop, cancel your subscription — you won't be billed again, but the current period isn't refundable.
